Travelogue Card Tutorial

Hi Everyone!  Summer is in full swing, which means lots of you guys are doing lots of traveling.  While you're living it up on the road, don't forget to send a little note to friends and family who would love to hear about your adventures.  Here's a great card tutorial that you could make up ahead of your trip and pop into the mail while on the road.  Beats the heck out of a postcard, right?!

Here are the supplies I used:

Travelogue Card (1 of 1)-2Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue 8×8 paper pad, Ranger Dylusions Ink Spray Vibrant Turquoise, Prima Miss Godivas Mermaid Flowers, Graphic 45 Metal Hinges, white cardstock, and Webster's Pages Trim Polka Net Blue.

Travelogue Card (1 of 1)Cut white cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", spray with Dylusions Ink Spray Vibrant Turquoise, dry with a heat gun, and fold in half on the 8 1/2" side.

Travelogue Card (1 of 1)-3Using the Tropical Travelogue 8×8 pad cut papers as shown from left to right:

"Wave" cutout, blue mat for cutout 3 5/8" x 2 1/2", map 5" x 3 1/2", and zebra print 5 1/4" x 4"

Travelogue Card (1 of 1)-4Assemble as shown.  Tip:  Glossy Accents works great for attaching the ribbon and flowers.
Travelogue Card (1 of 1)-5Separate the layers of a Prima rose to create paper posies.
